Meet the Owner
Sarah has been a licensed physical therapist for 24 years. She received her physical therapy degree with honors from the Ohio State University School of Allied Medicine in 2000. Since then, she has practiced at locations such as The Ohio State University Hospitals, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Delaware (Ohio) County Board of Developmental Disabilities, and Novant Heath. She has specialized in pediatrics since 2005.
She is also a wife and mom to three awesome kids.
Sarah has always loved working with children, specifically infants and toddlers with developmental delays. She believes play is an absolutely vital and foundational component of early movement, and a essential part of all kids’ growth and development.
Sarah believes that children should be cherished as unique individuals and be given every opportunity to achieve their highest potential. She listens to and works alongside parents to craft physical therapy goals with the whole child in mind.
She truly loves helping parents feel confident in their ability to help their child excel in gross motor skills throughout childhood, especially during those pivotal first years!
About Growing Strong Pediatric PT
Growing Strong Pediatric PT is a solo physical therapy practice, which means you will only ever interact with Sarah. She will be the one you speak with on the phone, who comes to your house, answers all your questions, and follows up afterwards. She will be your advocate and personal resource for all things pediatric PT!
Growing Strong PT began out of Sarah’s desire to provide optimal pediatric physical therapy services that are convenient, timely, focused, and effective, free of the constraints and difficulties typical of a busy clinic and located in a child’s ideal environment: the home.
Sarah understands parents’ concern that their child receives complete and attentive physical therapy care resulting not only in specific gross motor achievements, but a happy and thriving kid living a full and active life!
